WHAT TO DO IN THE EVENT OF A CLAIM
Automatically Included Coverage:
$5,000,000 Personal Liability InsuranceThis covers you if claims are brought against you by people using a horse you own, borrow, lease, etc. It includes bodily injury or property damage to someone or something else when you are held legally liable and covers up to $5,000,000.
Liability coverage is for non-commercial equine-related activities. Some limitations and exclusions apply. Coverage is in force 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and covers the member (Canadian resident) anywhere in the world. Exclusions apply for members who are non-Canadian residents. **ALL LIABILITY CLAIMS FOR PROPERTY DAMAGE ARE SUBJECT TO A $1,000.00 DEDUCTIBLE** |
$40,000 Accidental Death & Dismemberment CoverageThis covers you if you suffer a serious or catastrophic injury through an interaction with a horse, not including losses arising from the contraction of a disease. Covers up to $40,000.

Optional Additional Coverage:
Enhanced Accidental Death & Dismemberment including Fracture and Dental Benefits
$50,000 coverage for injuries, dismemberment and death sustained during horse related events including during travel to and from an equine event in a vehicle. This policy will pay regardless of any other insurance that may be in force at the time of the incident. Enhanced AD&D is restricted to members the age of 75 years. |
Members Named Perils
This coverage insures the life of the horse for death arising from a list of “named” perils detailed in the policy wording. It covers losses from such causes as fire, lightning, collapse of a building, transport, entrapment, drowning, impact by a vehicle, government order and others. Horses aged 30 days or older are eligible for Named Perils Mortality coverage (no maximum age). This coverage does not include death arising from sickness. |
Members Tack Coverage
$15,000 coverage against loss or damage from "all risks" for owned tack and equipment, excluding rider clothing and protective equipment, anywhere in Continental US/Canada. Limit of coverage is $15,000 for any one loss, total limit per term. Losses subject to a $500.00 deductible. |
